Rebates at Reviant

Of every promotion category, rebates are the least dramatic and the easiest to price. Nothing is claimed, no obligation is created up front, and the credit derives from activity that was going to happen anyway. That makes them the one offer type where the arithmetic can be done in advance with reasonable confidence.

Check the current cycle terms

Two different bases, two different products

The word covers two mechanisms that behave nothing alike. A loss-based rebate is computed on the net result of a period: deposits minus withdrawals, or stakes minus returns, depending on the wording. Come out ahead over the period and it pays nothing — which is the correct outcome, since there was nothing to cushion. A volume-based rebate ignores results entirely and returns a percentage of everything staked, so it keeps paying through a winning period as well as a losing one.

Which one an account sees depends on the market and the tier. Where both run together they cover different situations rather than competing: the loss-based version softens a poor stretch, the volume-based version rewards sustained activity. Neither requires a decision at claim time, and neither can be optimised for without staking more, which is exactly the behaviour worth avoiding.

Cycles and thresholds

Rebates settle on a schedule rather than continuously. Daily cycles close and pay early the following day; weekly ones pool seven days and pay at the start of the next. A pooled cycle usually carries a slightly higher percentage and an easier minimum, which suits scattered play, while a daily cycle returns smaller amounts sooner. Below the stated minimum nothing accrues at all — a period that produced a trivial net loss simply produces no credit, and that threshold is the first number to look up.

QuestionWhere the answer changes the value
What is the base?Net loss or staked volume — completely different products
Cash or credit?Cash is withdrawable at once; credit may carry its own obligation
Automatic or claimed?A manual claim missed inside its cycle is usually lost
Minimum to qualifyBelow it, a cycle pays nothing regardless of activity
Ceiling per cycleCaps the return whatever the size of the loss
Excluded gamesSome formats are left out of the calculation entirely

Cash or credit — the clause that decides everything

A rebate paid as withdrawable cash is worth its face value and can leave the account immediately. A rebate paid as restricted credit is worth considerably less, because it arrives with an obligation of its own, and a heavy multiplier on a small credit can make the whole thing academic. The distinction is one line in the terms and it is routinely skipped by readers who assume a rebate is always cash. Where a small multiplier applies, it is usually light enough to clear in ordinary play; where it is not, the offer belongs in the same category as a deposit match and should be judged by the method on the turnover page.

Whether the claim is automatic

Some schemes credit without any action. Others require the amount to be accepted in the account area inside a defined window, after which it lapses. Nothing about the interface makes this obvious, so it is worth establishing once, at the start, rather than discovering it by losing a cycle. Where a claim is required, the window is generally short — often shorter than the cycle that produced the credit.

How it compares with a deposit match

A deposit match arrives at the front of a session and locks the money it adds. A rebate arrives at the back and locks little or nothing. The match is larger and harder to convert; the rebate is smaller and nearly always converts. For anyone playing modestly and regularly, the accumulated rebates over a few months routinely exceed the realised value of a single headline welcome offer, precisely because so few welcome offers are ever cleared.

The trap in the mechanism

A rebate creates an incentive to stake more, and that incentive is worth naming out loud. A twenty per cent return on losses still leaves eighty per cent of them gone. No percentage makes additional staking profitable, and treating a rebate as a reason to extend a session inverts what it is for. The sane reading is narrow: it is a partial refund on entertainment already consumed, nothing more. Where the pull in the other direction is noticeable, the tools on the limits page are the appropriate response.
